Instead of wearing strips, you "paint" your teeth by using a small brush that resembles whiteout. The solution is then left on over night. In the morning, you simply brush your teeth as normal. There is enough solution in the bottle to last two weeks (the recommeneded time).

Finally, the last solution is a Custom Tray such as Beauty White. These trays have the advantage of being customizable to your teeth. They are also quite strong. The only downside to moldable trays is that after you mold them to your teeth, you cannot effectively share the whitening product to a friend or family member should you choose to share the product.

One last note is that both Crest and Colgate recommend continued usage of their products.Also, if you use the product for any period of time less than the recommended time, your whitening results will be less than you expect.
