Boil and Bite Whitening Trays

Boil and Bite Whitening Trays such as Beauty White are custom mouthpieces that mold to your teeth after they are boiled for 10 seconds. They are usually less expensive than whitestrips although they are equally strong as the non-premium and non-professional whitestrips since they contain the same amount of carbamide or hydrogen peroxide. However, they are usually not as comfortable as whitestrips.

 

Teeth Whitening Strips

Teeth Whitening Strips such as Crest Whitestrips range in effectiveness from being mild to very strong, depending on the strength of the product. Crest Whitestrips come in regular strength, premium strength, professional strength, and supreme strength. Crest Whitestrips are found by most users to be very comfortable to wear, although they are usually more expensive than boil and white trays or tooth whitening gels. Crest Whitestrips are worn for 30 minutes at a time.

 

Tooth Whitening Gels

Tooth Whitening Gels such as Colgate Simply White Night are different from whitestrips and boil and bite trays in that you apply a brush containing hydrogen peroxide to each tooth. This has the advantage for you to reach teeth that whitening strips or boil and bite trays cannot. However, this takes a bit more work on the part of the user. In terms of effectiveness, Colgate Simply White Night is just as strong as regular Crest Whitestrips, although it is not as strong as the Premium or Professional brands. Colgate Simply White Night is also less expensive than Crest Whitestrips.
